OUR HISTORY

Frontline Contracting has its roots in Zimbabwe where it takes great pride in serving companies like Old Mutual, MBCA, ZINARA, Zimbabwe Power Company, Ruwa Town Council, Zimbabwe Red Cross Society, NETONE, GMB, INNSCOR and Zimbabwe National Water Authority. It started operating in South Africa in 2015 and in 2017 opened offices in Rosebank, Johannesburg to serve both local and regional clients. At the core the South African division was formed mainly to shake things up as a women owned enterprise in a historically male dominated industry. As then President Oliver Tambo declared in 1981, “We need to move away from revolutionary declarations to revolutionary practice. We invite…the black women of South Africa, more oppressed and more exploited than any section of the population to take up this challenge and assume their proper role, outside the kitchen among the fighting ranks of our movements and its command posts.”Monica, the MD (SA) has developed and established a culture that is based on the following principles:

  • Cost efficiency and excellent client service.
  • Innovation and intrapreneurship in order to continually be at the frontline
  • Readiness to quickly adapt our outlook and approach as the infrastructure industry is always changing.
  • Attract the best and brightest people, give them freedom, respect and support. But most importantly, give them rapid advancement in their careers – as it is people that will help grow our company, take us in new exciting directions and take care of our clients.
